On The Idecis: ". . . no ordinary book. Author Robin Hardy takes her writing talent to an extraordinary, new level in these pages. I usually don’t make predictions (hey, I read what happened to the Old Testament prophets when they were wrong!) but I really believe that The Idecis has what it takes to become a Christian classic. There is a space reserved for this book on the shelf right next to the “Space Trilogy” penned by C. S. Lewis. I’m not kidding" (Joyce Handzo, In the Library Reviews).
On Padre: "This novel deals honestly with the hurts and ‘baggage’ we all carry into new romantic relationships. Hardy does an excellent job describing the difference between hurtful, sexually oriented relationships and those based on Godly principles, stressing the value of saving sex for marriage" (Regina Maharrey, RAD). On His Strange Ways: "Up until this point, Robin's books have stayed out of each other's business, though three of them are based in or around Dallas. Dallas being a big place, this is believeable. But when she brought two people together from seperate series' (Paul from Padre and Fletcher from Streiker series), it was pure genius! I have not laughed so hard, or turned pages as fast as when I was reading this book. I finished it in roughly 5 hours. I think that's a record for me (for a book that size). I would suggest reading Padre again (or for the first time!), as you will note a reference to Streiker (annonymous, of course), and it will make both books much more enjoyable to read. And for me, it had been over 4 years since I read Padre, so it was nice to have a ‘refresher’ read. Keep your eyes peeled for other ‘guest’ appearances (hint: from Sammy) in this bold, witty book. Enjoy!" (Amazon reviewer Grace Fox) On Unknown Name, Unknown Number: Rated "Must Read": ". . . a clever book rich in nuance for the detective-reading demographic. . . . Robin Hardy is a polished writer and there isn’t a misstep in this excellent book." (BookReview.com) | ||||
