Over the Christmas holidays, Robin and daughter Stephanie went to see the Dallas Bach Society's performance of Handel's Messiah (with guest artists Ava Pine, Meg Bragle, Scot Cameron, and Patrick Gnage). It was, in our critical and unanimous opinion, superb. Although we don't consider ourselves qualified to fully appreciate the virtuosity, even amateurs can enjoy the fruits of talent and dedication. We were also moved by the tremendous respect shown to the material.

Artistic director James Richman, sporting a jaw-dropping resume, has arranged for presentations of the Chapel Royal, Bach's Passion of St. John, Handel's opera-ballet Terpsichore, and chamber music from Versailles, to name a few.
